Govt constitutes coordination committee to address issues related to COVID-19 | KNO

Srinagar, Mar 30 (KNO): Government on Monday constituted a coordination committee to address the issues arising out of stringent measures taken to fight COVID-19 in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the committee was constituted to ensure movement of essential goods and services and to overcome the difficulties arising out of restrictive/Prohibitory measures. As per the order, the overall in charge UT coordination- COVID-19 response effort will be Atal Dullo, Financial Commissioner, Health and Medical Education Department. The order said that Bhupender Kumar, Mission Director NHM will be the in charge Apex Health Control Room while Rohit Kansal, Principal secretary to government, information department and Dr. Sehrish Asgar, director Information will be in charge for coordination of all Media and Information efforts. Dheeraj Gupta, principal resident commissioner, J&K government, New Delhi and Niraj Kumar, additional resident commissioner, J&K government, New Delhi will be in charge for coordination of issues related to students, patients and other residents of JK affected by the lockdown and are currently in different parts of the country—(KNO)
